QA Engineer (SaaS)

What you will do

• Analyze customer support tickets to extract reproduction steps and translate problems into actionable bug reports.
• Reproduce reported bugs across different environments and configurations to provide context for the engineering team.
• Design, write, and maintain test plans and cases for both open-source and Enterprise Edition features.
• Perform manual, exploratory, and regression testing throughout each release cycle.
• Collaborate with engineers to define acceptance criteria and validate fixes before release.
• Contribute to automated test coverage and track quality metrics and recurring issue patterns.

Requirements

• Experience in software QA with a strong foundation in manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Ability to systematically reproduce issues from support tickets, even with incomplete information.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or workflow automation tools.
• Comfort working with APIs, reading logs, and navigating distributed systems.
• Experience writing automated tests in Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Strong written English communication skills for collaborating with a global team.

Nice to have

• Past experience in QA roles involving direct interaction with customer-reported issues.
• Experience with open-source software or B2B SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow, n8n, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Experience with performance or load testing for distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Java.
