What you will do

• Deliver critical projects for handling third-party data, vertical audience building, and real-time ad serving.
• Strategically architect scalable web APIs, component libraries, and backend systems.
• Mentor the team and conduct rigorous code and tech spec reviews to ensure engineering excellence.
• Identify and resolve system-wide performance bottlenecks and consolidate technical debt.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to implement high-impact end-to-end product experiences.
• Conduct technical interviews to identify and attract high-performing engineering talent.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building highly scalable backend systems.
• Proficiency with GoLang, AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Extensive experience writing unit tests and end-to-end tests.
• Must be located in North America.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in ad tech.
• Ability to utilize AI tools to unpack and simplify technical complexity.
