What you will do

• Provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers through the implementation of big data projects and large-scale warehousing workloads.
• Architect and optimize production-level data pipelines, including end-to-end performance testing.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to handle advanced technical sales, custom proofs of concept, and workload sizing.
• Act as a subject matter expert in data lake technology, big data streaming, and ingestion workflows.
• Contribute to the Databricks Community through tutorials, hackathons, and conference presentations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a technical role with deep expertise in software/data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with data ingestion, streaming technologies (e.g., Spark Streaming, Kafka), and performance tuning.
• Experience migrating workloads from traditional EDW systems (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse) to cloud platforms.
• Production programming proficiency in SQL and at least one of Python, Scala, or Java.
• Strong familiarity with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Must be based in the United States.
