What you will do
- Build and manage a pipeline of VIP retail traders across crypto and traditional derivative markets.
- Drive the full sales cycle end-to-end, including outreach, qualification, conversion, and onboarding.
- Position perpetual futures products effectively using deep knowledge of spreads, funding, and leverage.
- Coordinate across product, legal, and compliance teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for clients.
- Serve as the internal voice of VIP clients by synthesizing feedback on UX and product gaps for the perps team.
- Develop scalable playbooks, outreach templates, and onboarding materials to optimize the sales process.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a client-facing derivatives role, such as retail sales or VIP account management at a crypto exchange or CFD broker.
- Deep technical familiarity with perpetual futures, including funding rates, liquidation mechanics, and margin modes.
- Proven ability to source and close revenue-generating clients from cold leads.
- Comfortable operating independently in a zero-to-one environment and creating processes from scratch.
- Excellent communication skills and a high-ownership mentality.
- Must be based in New York for on-site work.
Nice to have
- Experience at top-tier crypto derivatives exchanges (e.g., Binance, Bybit, OKX, dYdX, Hyperliquid).
- Existing network of active retail derivatives traders or trading communities.
- Familiarity with prediction markets or event-driven trading.
- Track record of building a client vertical or product line from the ground up.
