Senior Product Manager (Public Safety)

What you will do

• Define product vision and long-term strategic direction aligned with company objectives and customer needs.
• Own the product's P&L and develop pricing, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
• Translate strategy into actionable development roadmaps for internal teams and executive stakeholders.
• Prioritize the feature backlog by balancing user value, development effort, and competitive differentiation.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ensure delivery meets market needs.
• Track and evaluate product market performance, financial impact, and feature adoption to drive improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of product management experience within a software organization.
• Experience with P&L management, pricing strategies, and business case development.
• Proven track record of executing modernization strategies, transitioning legacy solutions to cloud architectures.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and AI-centric development (Claude Code).
• Legal authorization to work in Canada and ability to maintain a Government of Canada Reliability security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Aha! Product Management software.
• Familiarity with software engineering concepts: APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and mobile apps.
• Experience with Public Safety professional standards, wellness, or Case Management Systems (CMS).
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI technologies to enhance product capabilities or operational efficiency.
