What you will do

• Review and apply Android CDD and GAS requirements to ensure platform compliance across Android releases.
• Plan and execute XTS (Google Compatibility Test Suite) runs against the infotainment platform.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and coordinate with software teams for resolution.
• Develop and maintain automation suites, test scripts, and tooling to streamline certification.
• Generate detailed reports on test execution status and failure trends for leadership and program teams.
• Collaborate with integration, verification, and validation teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in software development and validation within Android, automotive, or embedded domains.
• Deep knowledge of Android framework architecture and validation tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Working knowledge of C++ and Kotlin.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Google’s Compatibility Test framework and XTS test suites.
• Experience with AOSP open-source contributions for test case development.
• Knowledge of automotive network protocols (CAN, Vehicle Ethernet) and tools like VehicleSpy or CANoe.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile, GitHub, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as ROBOT or AutoBot.
