Location: Must be based within commuting distance of Boston, MA (Hybrid: 3 days/week in-office).

Compensation: $140,000 – $170,000 + Equity.

What you will do

• Architect scalable, evolvable systems and data models for long-term maintenance.
• Define and uphold engineering standards, including CI/CD, testing strategies, and coding patterns.
• Lead frontend and backend strategy, including state management and API versioning.
• Drive cross-team alignment on technical roadmaps and complex deliverables.
• Mentor colleagues through design reviews, pairing sessions, and thoughtful feedback.
• Oversee operational security and SRE practices, including SLOs and incident response.

Requirements

• Must be based within commuting distance of Boston, MA.
• English proficiency required (official office language).
• Strong experience in fullstack architecture and system design.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor engineers.
• Experience with CI/CD, observability, and SRE practices.
• Ability to work in an IRL-first environment 3 days per week.
