TL;DR

Sr. Director, Finance (Media): Leading Free Cash Flow (FCF) strategy, analysis, and forecasting across the Filmed Entertainment segment with an accent on production, distribution, and CAPEX planning. Focus on driving financial strategy, partnering with senior leadership, and developing high-performing teams to deliver actionable insights.

Location: Must be based in Universal City, California (Hybrid: 4 days/week in-office)

Salary: $160,000 - $190,000

What you will do

  • Lead the forecasting, close, and analysis of Free Cash Flow for the Film segment.
  • Partner with business units and HQ P&L teams to evolve FCF strategy and narrative.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Own the Film segment’s Budget and Long-Range Plan processes for FCF.
  • Present financial insights and strategic updates to Film and Studios CFOs.
  • Oversee Studios CAPEX planning and weekly liquidity forecasting for Corporate Treasury.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in media/entertainment.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of four days per week in the office.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data for executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across multiple business units.
