Salary: $129,500 – $207,000

What you will do

• Provide direction and expertise in the planning, development, and implementation of veterinary compliance programs.
• Support regulatory training and monitor controlled substance handling at veterinary care locations.
• Coordinate with legal counsel to assess and maintain compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct assessments and audits to identify risks and draft standard operating procedures.
• Oversee ongoing compliance education and support veterinary teams in responding to regulatory changes.
• Build relationships with outside vendors and investigate new products to support veterinary operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of multi-jurisdictional veterinary services experience within a corporate structure.
• 10+ years of clinical experience in a veterinary hospital.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and scaling corporate compliance programs.
• Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities in evolving regulatory environments.
• Strong influence and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Nice to have

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) certification.
• Specific experience with Controlled Substance Compliance in a veterinary setting.
