Staff Data Scientist (AI/ML)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem framing and data exploration through deployment and monitoring.
• Design and build supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, and AI agentic solutions for business problems.
• Develop LLM-powered applications using external tools and APIs to automate workflows.
• Design experiments, including A/B tests and causal inference analyses, to measure model and product impact.
• Perform feature engineering, data validation, and quality assurance across large datasets.
• Partner with data engineering and ML platform teams to productionize scalable, reliable, and monitored models while mentoring junior data scientists.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience building and deploying production machine learning models.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills with experience in scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow, pandas, and NumPy.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks, including LLM and external tool/API integration.
• Experience across the full ML lifecycle, including feature engineering, training, tuning, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, experimental design, core ML algorithms, distributed computing with Spark or Dask, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Must be legally entitled to work in the United States. Experience mentoring junior data scientists in an Agile environment is required.

• Natural language processing or computer vision experience.
• Familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering, and generative AI.
• Experience with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning workflows.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
