What you will do

• Design and implement network security controls, patterns, and templates across multi-cloud environments.
• Build and enhance automation scripts using Python or Go and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Participate in production infrastructure design reviews and perform network security assessments.
• Operate and maintain critical security infrastructure including WAF, DDoS detection, and firewall controls.
• Leverage AI and agentic capabilities to streamline security operations and improve troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with global teams to drive consistent control enforcement aligned with CIS, NIST, and FedRAMP standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering or operations.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native security controls in AWS or GCP.
• Proficiency in Python or Go and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Solid foundation in information security threats, attack techniques, and mitigation controls.
• Must be based in Ireland and able to meet the 50% in-office/field requirement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective asynchronous collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with DDoS detection, IPS/IDS, or similar detection platforms.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, or FedRAMP.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted security copilots or agents.
