What you will do

• Develop and enhance LLM- and NLP-based systems for AI Search optimization.
• Design evaluation frameworks and benchmarks to assess LLM outputs and model behavior.
• Execute algorithmic tasks including brand extraction, domain mapping, and entity extraction.
• Optimize LLM pipelines to improve quality, latency, throughput, and cost-efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable, and production-quality Python code.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to solve complex product challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in machine learning, statistics, and classical NLP techniques.
• Advanced skills in Python and SQL.
• Practical experience working with LLMs or LLM-based systems.
• Ability to evaluate model quality using datasets, benchmarks, and experiments.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguous product requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG, AI agents, or agent-based systems.
• Experience deploying ML or LLM solutions in production environments.
• Familiarity with GCP, Vertex AI, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with asynchronous Python, high-throughput APIs, or large-scale data processing.
