What you will do

• Build and deploy scalable, production-ready data science solutions using point-of-sale data.
• Develop and fine-tune state-of-the-art neural networks for complex classification problems.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Deploy models into live production pipelines in coordination with MLEs and SREs.
• Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge exchange within the data science community.
• Ensure high standards for code documentation, reproducibility, and quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a professional Data Science role.
• Expert knowledge of deep learning algorithms and PyTorch framework on GPU infrastructures.
• Proven experience in fine-tuning third-party Large Language Models (e.g., HuggingFace).
• Strong proficiency in Python and development tools like Jupyter and PyCharm.
• Demonstrated ability to ship large-scale models to production environments.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud computing platforms, specifically GCP.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices including version control, testing, and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience productionizing models via REST APIs, containerization, and performance optimization.
