Quality Analyst (Aerospace)

TL;DR

Quality Analyst (Aerospace): Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on quality discrepancies for aerospace systems with an accent on process surveillance, RCCA, and procedural adherence. Focus on investigating complex quality problems, coordinating containment efforts, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Greenville, South Carolina. This is a hybrid role requiring a mix of remote work and onsite presence at a hirify.global facility.

What you will do

• Analyze and report on quality discrepancies related to raw materials, parts, and systems.
• Conduct process surveillance audits to evaluate procedural adherence and document findings.
• Investigate quality problems and assist with Root-Cause Corrective-Action (RCCA) efforts.
• Coordinate containment efforts and track nonconformance documentation for accuracy and trends.
• Interface with manufacturing, engineering, and customer representatives to ensure requirements are met.
• Assist with planning reviews and work order audits.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to relocate to Greenville, SC.
• Experience analyzing data and developing/monitoring metrics.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, engineering specifications, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of Quality Process and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work a 4x10 hour day schedule.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of aviation quality experience.
• Experience with project management tools and processes.
• Ability to adapt business processes into automated tools.
• Experience briefing senior leadership.
• Understanding of KPI reporting techniques.
