Salary: $131,750–$170,500

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain on-premises Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Automate system workflows and infrastructure tasks using Python, Bash, and SaltStack.
• Manage and improve Linux-based infrastructure with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with SRE, Development, and Security teams to ensure secure CI/CD and platform integration.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues involving the OS, network, or container runtime.
• Implement hardened security configurations and participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration and platform engineering.
• Production experience managing Kubernetes in bare-metal or on-premises environments.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python and Bash.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux internals, kernel tuning, and performance diagnostics.
• Experience with configuration management tools like SaltStack, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Must be able to work on-site four days per week in one of the specified US office locations.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as RHCE or LFCE.
• Experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux).
• Background in security best practices (CIS benchmarks, STIGs).
• Experience in highly regulated or low-latency environments.
