Location: Hybrid role, requires working from an HPE office on average 2 days per week.

What you will do

• Own the technical quality, design, and roadmap for critical product domains.
• Drive engineering best practices through design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Leads on prioritization and feasibility decisions.
• Mentor expert engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Tackle complex challenges related to performance, fault-tolerance, and live production issues.
• Partner with management to shape hiring and performance evaluations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of C/C++ experience in multi-threaded, performance-critical environments.
• Proven experience leading large-scale features from concept to production.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead by influence.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with public cloud services (AWS, Azure) and APIs.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, virtualization, storage, and networking.
• Experience with kernel space programming.
• Background in Scrum/Agile and advanced project management.
• Prior experience in leading development teams.
