QA Automation Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test code for backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Build and extend test automation frameworks, utilities, and reusable testing components.
• Collaborate with developers to identify testability gaps and quality risks during feature design.
• Analyze application logs, service behavior, and data flows to investigate defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability and execution time.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing for complex trading workflows.

Requirements

• English: B2+ required for technical communication.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience writing automated tests in Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with test automation frameworks like pytest, NUnit, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Ability to understand backend services implemented in .NET or Python.
• Experience with API testing, CI/CD integration, and SQL for data validation.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial systems or trading platforms.
• Familiarity with message-driven systems like Kafka.
• Experience with performance or load testing.
• Experience with frontend test automation for React or AngularJS.
