What you will do

• Develop detailed mechanical engineering designs including P&IDs, fabrication, and layout drawings.
• Manage project implementation, commissioning, and validation phases for powder handling systems.
• Collaborate with clients to refine concept designs and manage project budget estimates.
• Prepare as-built drawings and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Travel to project sites to oversee installation and ensure design integrity.

Requirements

• Must be based in Hamilton, New Zealand
• Mechanical or Process Engineering degree or diploma (NZCE).
• 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Expertise in powder food process design and process equipment machinery.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and Inventor.
• Strong understanding of flow element sizing and functional specifications.
