What you will do

• Design and implement features for trading systems with a focus on infrastructure.
• Develop low-latency C++ code for critical hot-path areas of the system.
• Perform investigative work to analyze and improve system performance.
• Create and maintain performance benchmark tests to monitor system improvements.
• Collaborate with the team through pair programming to share knowledge and maintain code quality.
• Participate in production support, including occasional out-of-hours and on-call duties.

Requirements

• Must be based in London, UK
• Strong C++ development experience in a Linux/UNIX environment.
• Experience with automated C++ testing and version control systems.
• Ability to design well-documented, maintainable, and elegant software systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
