Salary: $165,000 - $300,000

What you will do

• Design and operate scalable systems across data centers, edge devices, and the cloud.
• Build and operate platform services including messaging systems, microservices, and data platforms.
• Develop APIs, automation, and tools to improve platform integration and reliability.
• Apply AI/ML to create high-speed, large-scale predictions on distributed systems.
• Drive technical and architectural vision for core freight movement operations.
• Mentor and grow other engineers, establishing coding and design best practices.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the US (H-1B transfers, TN, and STEM OPT with 2+ years eligibility are considered).
• Minimum 6 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in distributed systems and messaging frameworks (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL/Graph databases, caching systems, and serverless platforms.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Engineering experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, or Spring Boot.
• Experience developing and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
