What you will do

• Assess and qualify candidate processes for automation based on feasibility, effort, risk, and expected benefit.
• Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, RPA, and low-code platforms like Microsoft Power Automate.
• Integrate automations with core enterprise systems such as SAP ERP and ServiceNow through APIs.
• Modernize and migrate legacy automations (AutoIt, VBA, custom scripts) toward cloud-aligned solutions.
• Maintain complete technical documentation and provide Level 3 support for the production automation estate.
• Mentor citizen developers and perform peer reviews to ensure compliance with security and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in process automation or software development.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, SQL, and VBA.
• Experience with RPA platforms and Microsoft Power Platform / Power Automate.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Valid Hungarian work permit or EU/Schengen nationality (mandatory).
• Secondary education completion (minimum); university degree in computer science or systems engineering is an asset.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud automation.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled features like Microsoft Copilot and ServiceNow NowAssist.
• Knowledge of other UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish).
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP.
