What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain real-time data streaming pipelines.
• Take ownership of the operational excellence and reliability of stateful streaming systems.
• Manage complex cloud-based infrastructure using a "you build it, you run it" approach.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to manage data products.
• Support and mentor fellow engineers to foster technical growth.
• Own features end-to-end while navigating cross-team dependencies.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps and Data/Software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Kafka and Flink.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and architectural trade-offs.
• Extensive experience working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Proficiency in Python.
