What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Wireless RF transmission lines, antennas, and cell site equipment including LTE, RAN, and Microwave.
• Operate specialized test equipment to perform corrective tasks on transmission towers and coaxial cabling.
• Perform site audits to ensure installations meet specifications and maintain FAA/FCC documentation.
• Collaborate with RF Engineering teams to support network optimization and statistical analysis.
• Conduct daily operational checks on cell site RF and associated equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete and remain a certified tower climber.
• Physical ability to ascend and work at heights up to 200 feet routinely.
• Ability to work in extreme Alaskan arctic weather conditions.
• Physical capacity to maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation for travel between worksites.

Nice to have

• Six months of experience in telecommunications, technical, or customer service roles.
• Associate Degree in electronics or from a telecommunications trade school.
• Prior certification as a tower climber.
