What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain HMI and control systems applications using Python and PyQT.
• Implement software applications associated with robotic product lines, specifically the ALTA Platform.
• Integrate IoT connectivity and manage network protocols for robot control.
• Develop and test robotic systems, including coding for communication protocols such as CAN bus.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless automation in healthcare environments.
• Manage data visualization and telematics systems using SQL databases and AWS services.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development using Python, C/C++, and embedded firmware.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Toronto, ON.
• Strong experience in development for Embedded Linux distributions, including kernel development.
• Proficiency with SQL databases (MySQL, Postgres, Mongo) and AWS services (IoT, Lambda, S3).
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and version control systems like GIT.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering medical device products to market.
• Familiarity with machine learning and data analytics frameworks.
• Knowledge of telematics systems and data visualization tools.
