What you will do

• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality web software, including requirements clarification, design, coding, and testing.
• Perform hands-on coding for 90%+ of the time to build and improve system implementation.
• Participate in code reviews and resolve defects identified during QA and production phases.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, QA/QE, and other engineering teams.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 0–2 years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications (internships included).
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language such as Ruby, Java, C#, Python, or C++.
• Foundational understanding of software engineering principles and the SDLC.
• Familiarity with REST web services and unit testing fundamentals.
• Must be based in Toronto, Canada.
