What you will do
- Build and maintain software powering the Roca fleet of robotic sorters.
- Design complex software solutions and own the overall software architecture.
- Act as Technical Lead, mentoring engineers and performing regular code reviews.
- Implement Agile processes and advocate for a healthy software development lifecycle.
- Optimize software systems to improve operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
- Shape the technical roadmap and align it with business objectives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years in a technical-leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Expertise in SQL, REST, and modern Object-Oriented programming.
- Must be based in or be able to work in Longmont.
Nice to have
- Expertise in Golang and/or Python.
- Experience with Linux, AWS administration, and basic networking concepts.
- Knowledge of deploying and maintaining dockerized applications in an embedded environment.
- Experience with AWS IoT and maintaining MQTT APIs.
- Previous experience with robotics, 3D printers and/or 3D printer software.
- Practical experience as a Scrum Master.
