TL;DR
Middle Test Automation Engineer (UI Testing, Networking, Python) (SD-WAN): Building scalable UI test automation frameworks and automated validation for SD-WAN controllers with an accent on Python, browser automation, networking, and CI/CD integration. Focus on stabilizing flaky tests, expanding functional and regression coverage, and supporting cross-layer testing across frontend, backend, platform, and networking components.

Location: Ukraine; remote or office-based work

What you will do

  • Develop automation components and methodologies for UI testing and validation of SD-WAN controllers.
  • Architect and improve test automation frameworks for scalable test development.
  • Build and maintain UI automation with Selenium, Protractor, WebdriverIO, and Cypress.
  • Design and execute functional and regression test scenarios.
  • Investigate flaky scripts and improve test stability, coverage, performance, and maintainability.
  • Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines, track defects, and collaborate with development, platform, backend, and networking engineers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in UI test automation, QA automation, or SDET roles.
  • Strong Python coding skills and good understanding of JavaScript and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Protractor, WebdriverIO, and Cypress.
  • Familiarity with HTTP, RESTful web services, Robot Framework, GitHub, and Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, FTP, DHCP, HTTP, OSPF, BGP, STP, and VLAN.
  • Upper-intermediate English or higher required for collaboration with international teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with TestComplete or UFT.
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN.
  • CCNA or CCNP certification.
