Middle Test Automation Engineer (Python + Networking)

What you will do

• Design and execute test strategies for SD-WAN features and end-to-end product workflows.
• Develop and maintain Python-based test automation and Playwright UI automation.
• Test RESTful APIs through authentication, payload validation, positive and negative scenarios, and error handling.
• Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins or similar CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze logs, stack traces, API responses, browser artifacts, packet captures, and system behavior to identify root causes.
• Track defects, resolve flaky tests, and collaborate with platform, backend, frontend, networking, infrastructure, and systems engineering teams.

Requirements

• Middle-level experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong networking knowledge at CCNA/CCNP level, including IPv4/IPv6, TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VRFs, NAT, DHCP, DNS, QoS, BGP, and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN concepts, network troubleshooting, packet captures, device CLI, and analysis of logs and counters.
• Practical experience with Python, Playwright or a comparable browser automation framework, RESTful API testing, Git workflows, and CI/CD integration.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, test stability, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong Intermediate English is required for effective communication.
