What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain AI/ML models and data pipelines for cybersecurity products.
• Optimize algorithms to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI features into the product architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Write clean, maintainable code and proactively address technical debt.
• Stay current on cybersecurity threats and trends to drive product enhancements.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US (implied by US-specific benefits and 401k).
• 7+ years of professional backend development experience, with 2+ years at a senior level.
• Strong proficiency in Go or Python.
• Experience building and operating production AI/ML systems, including model lifecycle management.
• Experience scaling distributed, highly available systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).

Nice to have

• Experience with Python web frameworks like Django or FastAPI.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL performance optimization.
• Background in cybersecurity, threat detection, or NDR environments.
