What you will do

• Build and implement Shopify-based D2C platforms and stores for artists and record labels globally.
• Contribute to the initial buildout and ongoing development of scalable ecommerce infrastructure.
• Collaborate with newly formed cross-functional teams to develop high-quality solutions.
• Produce robust user experiences by contributing to all architecture tiers.
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code to meet client requirements.
• Participate in system architecture and technical design across the organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in Mexico, Costa Rica, or Brazil.
• Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.
• Experience with distributed systems and AWS Cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with database technologies such as Neo4j, Kafka, MySQL, and Snowflake.
• Knowledge of low-latency techniques, microservices, REST, and OAuth.

Nice to have

• Experience with Shopify development, including themes, custom apps, and API integrations.
• Skills in data modeling, schema design, and defining best practices.
• Proven ability to lead execution and optimize KPIs.
