What you will do

• Develop and maintain releasable software in short sprint cycles as part of an Agile Scrum team.
• Design and implement custom software and database capabilities for legacy and modernized systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to deliver customer-defined software projects.
• Participate in sprint planning, regression testing, and solution releases.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on software engineering guidelines.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass a Security Clearance investigation.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• At least 7 years of professional experience in software design and development.
• Proficiency in working within a containerized Linux environment.
• Expertise in Python, Java Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Experience with RESTful services and microservices architecture.

Nice to have

• Technical certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or OCP Java.
• Experience with Kafka, ETL tools, or application security.
• Knowledge of state-management libraries such as NGRX or NGXS.
• DevOps experience and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
