Compensation: $6,000–$8,000 USD/month

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product development from initial idea to launch.
• Architect and evolve the stack using TypeScript, React, Python, and FastAPI.
• Translate business needs into robust technical specifications and solutions.
• Mentor and coach engineers while advocating for team needs.
• Drive engineering planning, including sprint management and capacity estimation.
• Refine engineering workflows and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Must be based in Brazil and available for daily standups during Brazilian midday.
• Growth mindset with the ability to pick up new technologies quickly.

Nice to have

• Experience with document processing or OCR tools.
• Knowledge of message queue systems like Kafka or Google Pub/Sub.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code).
• Background in building products using Generative AI or LLMs.
