What you will do

• Oversee database performance and provide operational DBA services across the organization.
• Manage, support, and maintain Postgres and Snowflake database technologies and related infrastructure.
• Perform database maintenance and configuration/design work, including replication, clustering, logical partitioning, and disaster recovery.
• Write and optimize database access and modifications, including stored procedures, views, and triggers.
• Support enterprise monitoring, backup, alerting, and security compliance for database servers.
• Partner with information security and application engineering to ensure security requirements and enhance database-related services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technology field.
• 5–7 years of DBA experience with Snowflake and Postgres.
• Expertise writing complex stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Strong experience with clustering, data synchronization, encryption, partitioning, performance, and security.
• Sound knowledge of MS/Azure database management and performance utilities.
