Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Build and deploy robust ML systems for search, including text, image, and multimodal approaches.
• Tune LLMs to enhance system performance and capabilities.
• Improve business KPIs by validating hypotheses and implementing new ML techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to exchange expertise and improve overall system architecture.
• Take ownership of end-to-end ML product development and system reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in applied machine learning.
• Excellent knowledge of NLP and transformer-based architectures.
• Extensive experience with Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Proficiency with big data stacks, specifically PySpark, for end-to-end ML pipelines.
• Experience with SQL dialects such as SparkSQL or MySQL.
• Proven track record of delivering production-grade ML systems.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests.
• Proficiency in Rust or C/C++.
• Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
