What you will do

• Create detailed 3D models and a comprehensive range of 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
• Produce accurate construction drawings and cutting lists for the workshop fabrication team.
• Develop ballooned reference drawings and exploded views to illustrate assembly sequences.
• Generate precise 2D drawings specifically for CNC router production.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and the Head of Fabrication to determine optimal design and build methods.
• Prepare technical specifications and drawings for external suppliers, primarily for metalwork fabrication.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and conventions.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and 2D drawing production.
• Ability to interpret and translate conceptual ideas into practical designs for scenic environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with fabricators.
