Location: Hybrid (Must be based in the UK and able to work from Manchester, Leeds, Halifax, Edinburgh, or Bristol at least two days per week)

Salary: £72,702 - £80,780

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize GCP infrastructure to support digital journeys and Generative AI workloads.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and modular design patterns.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, and Groovy.
• Evolve the CI/CD ecosystem using tools such as Jenkins, Harness, and GitHub.
• Manage scalable and resilient platforms using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Collaborate with Architecture and Software Engineering teams to ensure secure and compliant cloud solutions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with a broad range of GCP services.
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform and IaC principles.
• Experience in automation scripting using Python, Bash, or Groovy.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Harness, GitHub).
• Experience managing environments with GKE or similar Kubernetes deployments.
• Must be based in the UK and able to attend one of the office sites (Manchester, Leeds, Halifax, Edinburgh, or Bristol) at least 40% of the time.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud Professional certifications.
• Experience writing security guardrails (Sentinel or similar).
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace or Cloud Monitoring.
