What you will do

• Develop next-generation applications using Go and maintain legacy Ruby on Rails apps.
• Design and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions utilizing MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• Implement asynchronous processing with Kafka and RabbitMQ and transition data layers to GraphQL.
• Apply a SOA approach to decompose existing systems and own features from design through implementation.
• Collaborate with product managers to clarify requirements and identify critical delivery priorities.
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain a high quality bar for tested code.

Requirements

• Expert-level technical depth and system-level thinking with the ability to influence across teams.
• Must be located in Prague or reasonable proximity; not eligible for contractors or work from other countries.
• Strong demonstrated experience building distributed systems with cloud service-oriented architecture.
• Proven experience building and consuming web-based APIs.
• Comfortable working in continuous deployment environments.
• Production ownership mindset and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Go or Ruby.
