What you will do

• Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs for construction activities.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and risk assessments on construction sites.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for construction crews.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor environmental compliance including waste management and air quality.
• Provide guidance on pharmaceutical industry-specific construction requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HSE related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in construction environments.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry construction.
• Strong knowledge of GMP requirements for facility construction.
• Experience with hazardous materials handling and containment systems.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Gent, Belgium

Nice to have

• Professional EHS certifications.
• Experience with cleanroom construction and validation.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical process equipment installation.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical construction standards.
