.NET Developer (Gamedev)

TL;DR

.NET Developer (Gamedev): Developing and optimizing high-load, scalable game servers for strategy games and a new cross-platform third-person shooter with an accent on performance, architecture, and server-side logic. Focus on building gaming services, implementing profiling and deployment tools, and collaborating with game designers to enhance user experience.

Location: Must be based in Ukraine or Poland (offices in Lviv, Kharkiv, Warsaw or remote within these countries).

What you will do

• Maintain and develop the server side of game projects.
• Create new gaming services and optimize game logic for performance.
• Collaborate with game designers to influence game mechanics.
• Develop server-side solutions to improve user experience.
• Design and implement tooling for project needs.
• Develop and customize game project infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ukraine or Poland.
• At least 1 year of commercial experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core/Framework.
• Experience developing multi-threaded and scalable solutions.
• Understanding of algorithm complexity, SQL databases, and client-server architecture.
• Knowledge of TCP/UDP/HTTP(S)/gRPC protocols and containerized hosting in Kubernetes.
• Ukrainian: Fluent required.
• English: Intermediate (B2) or higher required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of troubleshooting and profiling tools for cloud and bare metal.
• Experience with CI/CD systems.
• Field-specific technical education.
