What you will do

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs and architectures.
• Develop and maintain high-performance APIs using PHP, Symfony, or Laravel.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams using agile methodologies and extreme programming.
• Optimize database performance and reliability using MySQL and Redis.
• Integrate modern technologies, including GenAI, into the checkout ecosystem.
• Mentor team members and ensure high-quality, maintainable code standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with Golang.
• Proven expertise in Symfony or Laravel for scalable applications.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and software architecture.
• Strong experience with MySQL and Redis.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Hamburg, Germany (relocation and visa support provided).

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP.
