Infrastructure Engineer (French)

TL;DR

Infrastructure Engineer (Linux/Windows/Kubernetes): Administration and maintenance of business applications for a French public sector client with an accent on stability, availability, and 2nd line support. Focus on troubleshooting, incident management, and managing environments based on Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, and VTOM.

Location: Katowice, Poland (Three-shift schedule: 08:00–16:00, 09:00–17:00, 12:00–20:00)

What you will do

• Administer and maintain business applications for a French-speaking client to ensure stability and performance.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify issues to maintain high availability.
• Perform 2nd line support, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and on-call rotations.
• Implement changes, fixes, and updates with minimal disruption to operations.
• Manage environments based on Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, and VTOM.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements

• French: B2/C1 proficiency required for daily client communication.
• Experience in application administration and support.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of VTOM or similar scheduling tools.
• Hands-on experience in application monitoring and incident analysis.
• Location: Must be based in Katowice, Poland.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
