What you will do

• Design and develop scalable canonical data models in BigQuery.
• Build and maintain data transformation workflows using Dataform.
• Develop and improve the Looker LookML semantic layer for reporting.
• Integrate data from enterprise systems like Sage 200.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across all pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.

Requirements

• Must be based in one of the listed countries: Kazakhstan, Serbia, Romania, Ukraine, Poland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Latvia, or Armenia.
• Proven experience with BigQuery and cloud-based data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with Dataform or similar transformation tools.
• Strong SQL skills and deep understanding of data modeling techniques.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with Looker and LookML or similar semantic layer tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with other cloud platforms or data tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Exposure to data governance and data catalog tools.
• Experience working in analytics or reporting-focused environments.
