Salary: $180,000 - $215,000 USD

What you will do

• Build tools and infrastructure to accelerate Planning development cycles.
• Improve testing, debugging, metrics, and evaluation workflows for autonomy software.
• Expose actionable insights from logs, simulation, and real-world autonomy data.
• Develop infrastructure supporting safety case development and test coverage analysis.
• Optimize the performance, maintainability, and reliability of Planning software.
• Partner with Planning engineers to identify bottlenecks and improve development velocity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with C++ performance optimization.
• Experience with large-scale software systems, ideally in autonomy or robotics.
• Proven ability to build tools, libraries, frameworks, or developer workflows.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to understand complex engineering workflows.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and satisfy potential national security-related scrutiny.

Nice to have

• Experience building safety-case tooling or test coverage infrastructure.
• Experience with large-scale autonomy metrics and evaluation systems.
