Salary: $120,588 – $195,955

What you will do
- Lead Drupal architecture decisions, including content modeling, configuration management, and reusable patterns.
- Develop custom modules, themes, and integrations for Drupal 9, 10, and 11 using Composer-based workflows.
- Integrate Drupal with RESTful APIs, authentication services, and enterprise platforms.
- Define and implement automated testing strategies, including unit, kernel, functional, and end-to-end testing.
- Optimize application performance and ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508 standards.
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and establishing engineering standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience developing and maintaining Drupal applications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
- Proficiency in PHP, Twig, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks.
- Experience with cloud-hosted environments, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
- Deep understanding of web accessibility standards, security best practices, and performance optimization.
- Must be based in one of the 16 specified US states.
Nice to have
- Experience delivering solutions for federal, state, or local government clients.
- Active contributions to the Drupal open-source community.
- Experience with FedRAMP, cloud.gov, AWS GovCloud, or other regulated environments.
- Acquia Certified Drupal Developer, AWS, or accessibility certifications (e.g., IAAP CPACC).
