What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using PHP 8.3+ and Laravel.
• Shape backend architecture and make technology decisions that improve scalability and developer experience.
• Translate business requirements and PRD documents into technical specifications and engineering practices.
• Optimize APIs, troubleshoot application issues, and maintain strong security and data protection standards.
• Manage deployments and robust CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Mentor junior developers and promote effective technical collaboration.

Requirements

• Senior-level backend engineering experience.
• Strong PHP 8.3+ and Laravel development skills.
• Practical understanding of when and why to apply domain-driven design.
• Experience optimizing APIs for performance and scalability.
• Knowledge of application security, data protection, deployments, and CI/CD.
• Availability for 40 hours per week and residence in LATAM.
