What you will do
- Design, implement, and deploy software across multiple Linux distributions and Microsoft server environments.
- Develop features for large-scale distributed systems, including file systems and databases.
- Ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery pipelines using Jenkins.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex code issues in C/C++ and Java.
- Collaborate with globally diverse engineering teams to implement robust solutions.
- Consider security in software design through scan reporting and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Linux and its various distributions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Java.
- Ability to work in a command-line environment and script/debug in Shell or PowerShell.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with open-source contributions and build systems.
- Familiarity with non-x86 architectures like ARM.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
