Software Engineer I (Commerce Engineering)

Location: Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA, United States

Salary: $110,500–$160,000 annually in Seattle; $127,100–$185,000 annually in San Francisco, plus sign-on payments and RSUs.

What you will do

• Build immersive, interactive commerce experiences that help viewers support creators.
• Architect and develop robust, scalable applications for millions of concurrent users.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver cohesive solutions with measurable business impact.
• Turn customer feedback into features that improve the hirify.global experience.
• Develop products across Subscriptions, Gifting, Bits, Hype Train, and Turbo.

Requirements

• Experience building consumer-facing products.
• Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills in algorithms, data structures, and schema design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience.
• Ability to work from Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA.

Nice to have

• Mobile development experience with native or hybrid technologies.
• Familiarity with Golang and TypeScript/React.
• Experience with AWS technologies such as ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions.
• Passion for gaming, streaming, or the hirify.global platform.
