Freelance Event Specialist

What you will do

• Take ownership of in-person events, including setup, execution, and breakdown.
• Act as the primary on-site representative and leader for hirify.global.
• Manage guest check-in processes and provide a welcoming environment.
• Coordinate roles with nonprofit partners, venues, and corporate clients.
• Solve operational issues on the fly, such as missing supplies or technical challenges.
• Handle post-event site cleanup and repackaging of materials for shipment.

Requirements

• Must be based in Zurich, Switzerland.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in managing complex, large-scale and intimate executive events.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
