Pricing & Market Access Senior Manager (Pharmaceutical Market Access): Driving national pricing and reimbursement strategies for Vertex therapies in Switzerland and Austria with an accent on reimbursement dossiers, economic model adaptations, payer evidence, and access negotiations. Focus on coordinating cross-functional market access projects, securing inpatient and outpatient coverage, and defining local evidence-generation needs for rare disease and pipeline products.
Location: Zug, Switzerland; focused 80% on Switzerland and 20% on Austria. Hybrid work allows remote work up to two days per week, or on-site work five days per week with ad hoc flexibility.

What you will do
- Shape country market access strategy for sickle cell disease, transfusion-dependent thalassemia, cystic fibrosis, and pipeline products.
- Lead pricing and reimbursement projects, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, activities, and timelines.
- Prepare reimbursement submissions and responses, adapting global value dossiers and economic models to local requirements.
- Define payer evidence requirements, pricing models, reimbursement flows, and access negotiation strategies.
- Coordinate with Medical, Government Affairs, International Pricing & Market Access, HEOR, and RWE functions.
- Secure inpatient and outpatient access, including hospital-level coverage and local evidence-generation projects.
Requirements
- Hands-on pharmaceutical market access experience in Switzerland; access experience in Austria is desirable.
- Current understanding of payer environments, reimbursement decision-making, pricing, and contracting strategies in Switzerland and Austria.
- Experience adapting global economic models and reimbursement dossiers to country-specific requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Relevant degree, solid ethical judgment, and compliance with regulatory, legal, and industry codes.
- Fluency in German and English is required; French is a plus.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of cell and gene therapy and rare diseases.
- French language skills.
- Access experience in Austria.
