What you will do

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue, S3, Athena, and Step Functions.
• Build and optimize batch and streaming ingestion pipelines, including CDC-based architectures.
• Implement data models aligned with business and analytics requirements.
• Ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance across all datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Apply best practices in modular design, reusability, and data governance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• 2+ years in a Lead or Senior capacity
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and PySpark
• Strong experience with AWS ecosystem (Glue, S3, Athena, Step Functions)
• Must be based in Mexico
• Deep understanding of data pipeline architecture and design patterns

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
